Transitions will be painful.  They always will.  And the tough reality is once a goal is achieved, you start over.   All you’re stressed confronted by fear and once you battle it out, it starts all over again.  That’s success in a nutshell.  How much can you handle? And, on every level there’s personal struggle with transition in feeling like your starving for the regular, normal and patterns you’ve recognized that you have to push through and feel uncomfortable. Some can take the pain.  Some give up after feeling misery and having fear in your face but with each level of success achieved and moving up has a whole new level of harder work to face. You may be in a funk about life, or your business, facing drama or dealing with some real ish but trust me not facing what you know what you have to and avoiding reality only makes it worse to never have what’s guaranteed.  So go for it. I believe in you.

A lot of people tell me that a bodybuilder is not an athlete... But, I beg to differ.  It’s also about taking the time to market yourself in a way that is creative in your field in order to build an income.  Along with surrounding yourself around mentors, investing time into learning technology and at the same time try not to sacrifice time from your personal life in order to become a professional athlete. Be that may, I don’t have kids, not married, never have been in debt, have savings, and I am very flexible with my time.  This did not happen overnight and I have built up a level of being an entrepreneur where my life isn't so glamorous but, I’m thriving and maintaining my freedom and that to me equals happiness.  Doesn’t matter if you’re an athlete or not you have to find a way to build an income so you can have time to relax, live a balanced life and ultimately do what you love. You Are In Pain Because You’re Moving

Look, not having responsibilities is easy.  But,  taking on more responsibility and making yourself more vulnerable is the bravest and most powerful. So when you are going through a transition and it’s painful af, trust that it’s suppose to feel that way.  You are in pain because you’re moving.  You are feeling stress because you are elevating.  But, also trust that it doesn’t last forever.  You will eventually feel secure and comfortable again.  Trust.  In you.  Trust the process.  In the power of action. So keep on keeping on.  Do your best.  Vent to people you trust.  Take brave actions, pivot, readjust, learn, and repeat. 

Self-reflection...how often do we actually do this?

Too often we tend to forget to reflect back on our journeys.  Far too often we just get too caught up accomplishing more and more.  Which is a great mindset to have but we cannot forget how far we’ve come.   Most things we’ve been through in order to overcome has never come easy and we have gone through a lot to get to this point right here. Self-reflection is so important when is comes to growth, learning and reflecting.  It’s the best asset we have and I challenge you 10 minutes a day to do more self-reflection activities like stretching, meditating, yoga and breath work.

Success is a lonely, tough, hard road.  It’s not for everyone.  Are you going to follow your own path or follow others? Others are always in need of attention or recognition of others to survive.  But, I find thriving within and only for myself. Feeling like you don’t fit in and like you don’t need others to have your own back.  Speak and embrace your truth to gain true respect and live. Find courage to follow your own heart so you show others that they too can do the same.  Inspire yourself to inspire others.   Learn to fight alone and become strong alone.

Because I’ve dealt with pain and had to face internal challenges.  I am proud of what I’ve overcome and who I’ve become and staying true to myself. Pride and respect from myself will reflect on how others see me and that’s from rebuilding myself after being broken, picking up the pieces and putting myself back together again.   Invent yourself and then re-invent yourself.  Find the light that shines in all the darkness. Who do you need to become and do to become the best version of yourself?

My Next Bodybuilding Competition

It's All About The Butt 🍑

 🍑 For today’s Sassy Bootcamp we  definitely  worked out our humps!   We did squats, lunges, box step ups, Whole Body Vibration, rebounding, stair climbers, leg kicks and best of all...we stood in a circle introducing one another AND all got to stand in heels and discuss the difference between feeling sexy on the outside yet being sassy on the inside. We also practiced walking in our heels 👠 on carpet, stairs and hard wood floor and we all loved giving our opinions on how great high heels make us feel divalicious.   Next week’s Sassy Bootcamp is emphasizing the catwalk and how each woman has her own moves to emphasize the curves...Oh La La!   We will also be circuit training exercises focusing on sculpting the back and shoulders.  These ladies are my Strength Sister indeed and I love them so much.  I'm so proud of their hard work to wake up, show up on time and be  heard  up and ready to feel go...

You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know In the world you know lays out everything perfectly.  How to think and act and what’s possible and what’s enough.  Just enough to get through the day.  That’s not enough for me.... Victory lays outside of your daily routines and actions that are rarely taken and in a world you don’t know. Risks are required and turning your back on normal and stop following your trail to embark on more weight on your shoulders that will give you the best hat life has to offer. Keep moving as far away from average as possible.  Expect expectations again and again and again.  Seek out what you don't know and look at unfamiliarity everyday until you’re breathing life to the fullest. This is how you create a life worth living. The life you're living is a mirage and in the shadows that no one knows is where you’ll discover the best version of yourself.

My Experience Getting a Colonic- Oh SH*%

I go and get a colonic about once a month just for a digestive reset. If something I don’t regularly about gets in the way of my daily life can definitely place a road block on being at my best.   Vegas Colon Hydrotherapy off Charleston in Las Vegas is where I go.  Very clean, professional and I always have a pleasant experience. It’s not cheap.  And at $75 for an hour session, I always only need 20-30 max.  Now...when do I feel I need to get a colonic? When I have nothing planned for the rest of my day so I can rest. When I'm breaking out, having stomach aches and feel cranky. Migraines, not sleeping well, anxious or something stressful is coming up or just happened. You'll see more results when you stop looking for instant results.  It’s this mindset when you can soak in the happy moments that generate so many healthy benefits for us to enjoy life.  There are times when I wish I could see instant results but my mind frame becomes aggrivated and can cause me anxiety. But, when I let that go of instant results and stop thinking forward I have more peace.  I'm around the people that I vibe with more which is my Fitness Family and this is when I experience more happiness and have less expectations.

How Much Food Are We Eating Every Year?

In 1980 the US total food consumption per person per year was 1335 pounds in 2009, the total food consumption per person rose to 1474 pounds per person per year. 1980 and under 30 years the average person eats 139 more pounds of food in a year. On average, that is 6 ounces more food each day. That’s approximately the weight of a large apple, although let’s be real for most people, that means eating an extra 10 chicken nuggets, couple cheeseburgers or a few bags of chips every single day. Since this totals 4 pounds of food on average per day let’s break that down into what that is today!   25% dairy  22% processed vegetables  16% processed fruits  12% meats  9% grains  8% fresh fruit  4% fresh vegetables  3% oil  1% sweeteners nuts or others 2011 that rose to 1,996 lbs per year and now its 3,336 lbs of food that on average one person eats in 1 year! Enough sad  😢  

6 Worst Chemicals Found In Food

Aspartame is single handily of 75% of adverse food reaction.  So out of any chemicals this booger is responsible for 1/3 of them.  Known to prevent the fat burning process in the body but also causes more cravings for carbs and sugar by ingesting artificial sweeteners. Artificial Colors are mostly made from coal, tar and petroleum  ⛽️  Red40 is anything colored red or orange.  Yellow5 and so on are made from things that are toxic to the body. MSG Monosodium Glutamate has been known to cause diabetes and obesity in lab animals when given MSG...which is really sad 🐁   🐀  Meat or cheese processed to give a flavor that give an extenuated taste like BBQ, Smoked and so on. Becoming our worst enemies subconsciously can happen to us all but why?  It is easier to fail than be successful and the closer we get to obtaining that success is where it becomes harder and more difficult. Life continues no matter what we do but being challenged, manage failures and handle obstacles is where success are a few of the things we do in order to not fail but face them.
