Creating a goal strategy

 Are you ready to reach the first milestone in building the body of your dreams? Add caption Make sure you begin each workout with a proper warm up routine while hydrating and resting in-between sets.  If you're serious about making real drastic changes, then start with a before and after picture a progress picture every month.  Try tracking your meals and exercise in a journal or on an app while making small changes every couple of weeks until you reach your goal. Weighing yourself may bring discouragement for some so staying away from the scale all together is best.   While creating your goal strategy, follow of a few of these questions. Why is this important to you. Why do you want this?   What's your Why?

Mind Hacking

 Research shows that food suppressions is a very poor dietary strategy.  The more you suppress thoughts about food, the more likely you are to struggle with cravings and binge eating.  While you can't always control your thoughts, you CAN control your actions.  And, before you act on desires, remember your goal.   Self control is at its highest in the morning and that it steadily declines as the day wears on.  This willpower muscle is the same reserve in ourselves as compared to making big purchases, resisting temptations, fighting off emotional impulses, keeping distractions at bay and finishing difficult talks. When was the last time you had a willpower workout to train your self control? The harder you try to banish the vision of a temptation there is a trigger in your mind that creates a monster to fuel that temptation until you give in.  Example:  you're trying to fall asleep and you can't because the ice cream in the freezer is calling your name. What will you decide?   Self control is the hardest muscle in the mind to train in my opinion.  Were drawn to both delayed and immediate gratification in the forms of long term goals and temporary jolts of pleasure.  Were constantly susceptible to temptation yet we have the power to resist. So, while juggling happy and sad emotions, try strengthening your willpower by being more mindful can bring more effective positivity into your life.  You can exert as much self control as you think you can.  So, the next time you feel too tired toughen up and push past it.  Challenge yourself to go beyond the point into discomfort and you'll likely find you can without consequences.
