How To Make a Difference This Holiday Season

With the holiday season quickly approaching, it's time to take what we have and give it to those that are less fortunate.  Your service in the community make a HUGE difference so I thought that I'd take the time to write out a few of my favorite ideas that help me get into the spirit around the holiday season.

1..Getting rid and donating unused items.
When I am going throughout the season LOL and sizes in my wardrobe I like to get rid of what I no longer wear and give back.  Wether giving to a friend, or creating a community Garage Sale or just dropping off at Savers, it's always a generous and generous habit to create every season to get rid of and donate.

2.  Being a Strong Community Partner
Finding organizations to volunteer for is a great way to meet new people and spend your time valuing a charity that makes you feel good from within.  Whatever their message is to help humanity make sure that it follows your core values and beliefs as well.  What are you providing and how are you giving back?  To humans, plants, neighborhood, a friend, a animal?  Love comes in many shapes and forms.

3.  Be an Innovative Philanthropist
Giving your time by volunteering to share and give a service that you excel in and can help your fellow friend, acquaintance or a family member-it is bringing your self awareness to another level by showing love.  Your community needs you so don't be afraid to try new things in a particular area that your passion acts in a way like no other.  that passion is what will create harmony in your life and spread joy wherever you act in those small ways of kindness.  It's in that passing of generosity during the Holiday Season that most dearly need.  And it is an act of kindness that will create a new viewpoint in your life and in the  world.

For Thanksgiving, Gene and I decided to open our homes to our friends that don't have a good home cooked meal to come to.  We are preparing our table and welcoming everyone who would like to share a feeling of love and family with us at our home.  Hope you all are feeling a sense of bliss during this time of the year.  And, if not?  Send me a DM :)
