My 2nd Day Of Social Media Detox

I woke up 4am.  Was out the door at 8am and the bank and print business weren’t open till 9am.  So I went to the gas station to fill up and then went home and walked the dogs.  Boy, all the time I have.

Today I printed my new business cards, picked up my latest edition of New Mind, New You Book, consigned some clothes at Buffalo Clothing Exchange, posted a few items for sale on Facebook Marketplace, blogged on my website, went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, went to LVAC for calves, abs and cardio and even had enough time to was able to go home to Gene and go over our day and just hanging out for a bit before bedtime.

I am in amazement over having almost no anxiety.  That’s a biggest part I see.  Also not wasting time scrolling, posting or writing content and really finishing my day doing serious constructive activities to make a living.  I'm also not needing to take pictures of everything I see or am doing thinking that it would make a good post for something in the future.

The best part is my overall feeling of enjoying my privacy and realizing how showcasing my entire life was causing so much havoc on in my psyche never being able to relax.

Did I mention that my appetite has increased and I have WAY more time to value my meals and enjoy eating slower without having to watch my social media.  All while enjoying eating slower is where I do see a whole different change in the way I feel overall because I am digesting my food easier WOW!  All by turning off Social Media for 2 days.  Are you serious?

Day 3 is ahead and I do care that you all are taking the time to read this and maybe considering this social media detox for yourself.
