My Fun at Cowabunga Bay Water Park




I love being in and around water.  It's my happy place to be in a bikini and be on the beach everyday and that is exactly what I think about all the time!  I’m an Aquarius and water is my elemental sign so being in the desert it’s difficult to fill my cup.  But,  the water parks in Vegas are so fun and I loved going to Cowabunga Bay yesterday with Gene.  It was amazing to see all the stress melt off of Gene as he was able to take the rest of the day off and just relax in his zen mode falling asleep on the lounge chair.

We went to Cowabunga Bay he weather was perfect.  For locals if you go after 4pm and it was half off PLUS it was not necessary to get a locker and we were able to bring in our own food and drink.  The environment was very safe with security and everyone seemed to be in such a happy state. :)

The lazy river was our favorite but ultimately I truly loved just being in a lounge chair in a bikini.

Almost my whole life I’ve been on the other side of the coin where being in a bikini was something I ultimately became so insecure about but WOW it has been such a life changing experience to realize I don't and should not of ever felt like that.  It was all in my head.  Such a relief to not have that feeling anymore and walk with pride to the next waterslide.

Just be a kid was fun as raced a few kiddos down the huge water slides.  I gave a high five to each of them (because they lost LOL) and I walked with my head raised high living and loving life and not being insecure.  My body and being able to enjoy myself without EVER comparing myself to anyone else, I couldn't have thanked my coach in a more humble way that just to feel blessed with all my hard work I've accomplished with him.

I want to get more muscular and train harder but being able to be comfortable with my body is something I am getting used to.  This means being comfortable with stares and haters but realizing that I have no self control over others opinions and judgments and I don't care!  That's the hardest part.  Not caring what others think. 

I’m going to Wet n Wild tomorrow and having the fun all over again!  BOY does Las Vegas have some fun Water Parks for everyone all ages to enjoy.  Go out and live life!
