Staying on your Food Program while on Vacation
I had the best vacation recently driving with my Mom to Disneyland and I didn’t have to purchase ANY Park Food PLUS when I returned home I didn't gain any weight.
Wanna know how I stuck on my Food Program?
Discipline.
I packed all my meals, snacks, took 3 gallons of water and even packed my whey protein and coffee.
Best Tip: I made sure I ate every 2-3 hours so I never got too hungry. Also by eating my food that I packed and not buying park food was such a smart idea to save money. Another choice that I made that helped significantly was buying new walking shoes. My knees, legs or back didn’t hurt while walking 8-10 miles per day.
To decrease any cortisol in my body, I was avid about leaving the park after 3-4 hours and taking a uber back to the hotel to take a hot shower, have some tea and take a break to rest. Uber is so convenient and affordable instead of walking back if it’s a far distance.
Since my anxiety around a lot of people was at a super high around big crowds it’s very helpful to de-stress and go back to eat at the hotel instead of staying at the park like most people do all day long.
Another great choice my Mom and I made was to not be in a rush and take our time. We slept in and we also went to bed super early. Watching the sun rise for morning yoga and meditations was very useful.
