Ice Box Canyon Hike at Red Rock Natural Conservation Area

I feel like a whole new person being off social media. Wondering as what it would be like if I don’t ever want to go back on social media because of this new way I’m feeling.  And it’s only been one day.  All the energy and attention that I have only for just myself and all of the clear thinking and focus not obsessing about posts or content or likes or anything of that sort.  But, when does the FOMO set in is my real question?

But overall I can feel my energy is so pumped up and that is such an amazing feeling.  I have so much more time in my day.  Funny, I caught myself pressing both the Facebook and Instagram icon on my iPhone and instantly I clicked off of both of them because I felt this really annoying nagging feeling like I had no privacy.

And even stranger in just one day, I don’t seem to have any anxiety. Which is really really weird!!

I went hiking at Red Rock today by myself and  that was something I’ve been wanting to go do by myself for months. And for some strange reason I came up with every excuse in the book not to go until I turned my social media off and went back to the “caveman”
Instincts in me to enjoy going outside and being outdoors.

The hike was super small but is my favorite.  All the different flowers, bugs, plants to learn about and to admire all the beautiful clouds in the sky I found so many little things that my coach explained to me that would become more alive when I would stop posting things on social media.

Can’t wait to tell you all about Day 2 of my Social Media Detox!
