How Food is No Longer Nurturing Us
How Food is No Longer Nurturing Us
When was the last time you ate food to soley nurture your body?
Ever thought to eat like a caveman?
Preparing meals ahead of time with a good portion of fat, carb and protein ration will effect us now and in the long run.
Seriously, the “Rat Race” lifestyle is a good example of how people living is the USA eat fast, cheap and unhealthy.
Take a look at all the GMO, processed, fast, unhealthy, fatty junk food that are sold ONLY IN THE USA!
At our finger tips for pennies at the dollars are endless candies, cookies, chips and sugary drinks sold at the 99 cent store that every child would love to get a hold of. Vs if we go to a local Farmers Market it tends to be up towards $7-8 for a small basket of blueberries. Blueberries are medicine to the body and brain not junk food. Nurturing your body from the inside out is a lot of hard work on everyone's part. Even for PETS! It makes me angry when a fresh pressed juice it’s typically $8-9 or a smoothie is the same. But a Gulp Guzzler of Soda is only around $1.50! Do you catch my drift of frustration? Do you feel the same way how unfair I feel it is for us to just stay healthy?
Thank god fast food places are catching up to serve WAY more healthier options but again what happened to the good sac lunch or homemade precooked meal?
Lastly, Is your food nurturing your soul? Is it a traditional recipe? Are you “breaking bread with any fellow people that feed your entire being? Sharing food with friends and family is such a healthy beneficial way to nourish pathways for your mind and body. Plus while enjoying eating together and sharing a good conversation together can have such great connections for your mind and body. Healthy positive people remember. Not the ones where you’ll smash food in your face quickly just to get out the situation where someone is in your face getting heated about politics or religion LOL. you need to avoid eating in a hurry.
Happy Eating!! Gain the positivity in your life without worrying about gaining the weight. You’re amazing anyway you see fit!
