Glam Sophisticated Private Makeup Lesson with Nikolina Beauty Part 2
When using any kind of make up, make sure you find good products that are natural, organic, free of parabens, alcohol and has a good SPF in it.
I recently won a free private makeup lesson from Nikolina Beauty the owner of Glam Sophisticated. She taught me yesterday at her private makeup studio with a 2 hour class to give me the foundation I need to build a good make up routine. This is what she taught me.
Washing your make up brushes with Castile soap and letting them dry over the counter to not build up any germs at least 1 to 2 times a month is important.
When you are using foundation, concealer and or contouring using a beauty blender (that is slightly damp in water) is a good way to set your make up. And mixing your brushes on a make up palette makes it super fun and an easy way to combine colors and not make it messy.
Anytime you use a foundation, concealer or are using several cream products make sure you set it with translucent powder or regular powder every time so they don’t layer up on each other and create a kinky look.
Highlighting in accenting your face by starting at the top of the four head coming down and swooping in a number 3 Angel is something important I learned from Nikolina. This gives the appearance of a flawless and glossy look that shows off and accentuates the features of the cheekbones, nose and eyebrow.
Be sure to have your brows slightly sketched with hair like strokes and when blending your eyeshadow doing it in a circular motion is best to blend evenly. Shimmer eyeshadow scary boils in them which is a good thing to remember plus always having a setting spray to finish off your make up is something that I have now found is such an important step when giving your look that last finishing touch.
