Day 3 of No Gym?  OMG ðŸ˜® What do I do?


Well speaking to my coach, we felt that it would be a very good idea for me to have a serious break and not step foot in the gym. For however long that may be I can tell that I am adrenally fatigued and I need to recover.  

There are also serious mental issues I feel that if you don’t step away from the gym and create a life away from fitness your body and your brain will begin to break. Being that I have become so obsessive with with my fitness regime and my competition schedule, this is something I take very very serious.

Not only do I want to miss the gym, but with the help of my coach and the support of my fitness family I have the ability to come back even stronger with more of a welcoming feeling and satisfaction that taking a break is a very good idea.

So going on three days iand no gym what has my body felt like? Absolutely amazing! I have so much more energy, cognitive function, and overall my body is lessening on the chronic inflammation that I was feeling daily.  So my life outside of he gym has blossomed into doing activities like blogging, writing, painting, cooking, dog grooming, cleaning house going out for dinners with the family, going for solo hikes or daily walks, yoga, meditation.  These are all things that I love to do outside of the gym and appreciate and am so grateful for my life.
