Yoga for Muscle Strength, Flexibility and Weight Loss


Every morning, first thing I do (even before I make coffee) is stretch and do a Yoga Flow.  I find so many benefits by being a yogi because I have the ability to move and be flexible which is so crucial as I get older.

Now, is Yoga great for weight loss.  

Yes!  BUT you have to take a multifaceted approach to losing weight.

-Eating a cleaner more portioned controlled diet

-Putting aside time for a cardio activity

-Making emotional stressors avoided

But Yoga does get you in-tuned with your body.  When you feel better about yourself, I find; complimenting yoga with a strength conditioning workout is so beneficial for the long term to avoiding inflammation and injuries.

Also Yoga improves your mode, unlocks emotions trapped in our body (mostly where were the most inflexible) and gives you time to stand still and spend some time in silence.  Perfect for meditation and clearing the mind before the day begins.

Always be Stretching and find your Yoga flow!
