Why “Competition Day” is Glorious for Bodybuilders

Why “Competition Day” is Glorious for a Bodybuilder

After all the spray tan is washed away and the suit and heels are placed away neatly in the closet, your real life comes back to normal.

Ever since then, everyday is a race against time to develop the physique you’ve wanted and the closer the show gets, the more nervous and anxious you become.

The anticipation just waiting for the showday to arrive is literally like a ticking time bomb but once all that rush and excitement is over, feelings of calmness, happiness and joy flood back into your life.  Everyone is happy and so “On Top Of The World” that Competition Day is truly a fun event all around.

Some take it really hard when the competition is over though due to high expectations or until this time their life has become so conditioned and dedicated to their journey that they never realized how much time they would have back in their lives once the awards are given and the show is over.

Some go straight back into the next competition because of the rush it brings to be on stage and especially to place.  I am guilty of being “bitten by the competition bug” because it is so fulfilling for me in so many ways.  I’m sure others can relate with me in the same regards.

So, Competition day is a grand day to celebrate all of the hard work and trust me it’s also nice to look forward to taking a break and resting.
