What’s Creatine and What Does It Do?
I’ve never used Creatine before but for my slight water weight gain and extra energy needed, this would enhance my training. But, I did my research and wanted to share it with you.
One of the few we’ll back by research that helps improve strength and muscle gains as well as anaerobic activity.
When we lift weight ATP is an energy source that we use and when we use Creatine it enables a faster regeneration on the ATP when performing better. Creatine monohydrate is naturally found in the body can also be supplemented and research suggest that the Type 2 muscle fibers and a low responders (which some people are or not) using Creatine has been found to increase weight due to water weight.
But how to take it and does it have side effects? There is HCL or microfiber formed of Creatine if monohydrate Creatine doesn’t work for you.
Can be found in Powder or pill form and 47g carbs and 50g protein with taken with Creatine has the best results in a bulking season.
Take Creatine post or pre-workout? Take it post workout for the potential Benefits. 20mg a day is good and elevate 3-5mg slightly per week if needed.
Talk to your general practitioner or your trainer before trying this.
