Even before the competition begins, getting extra rest and re-feeding yourself with clean carbs, fats and proteins should be happening right now.  The fact of the matter is that food feels so good no matter how much your stomach wants it but watching the magic of someones mode change instantly is why so many people film competitors taking their first bite of "Cheat Food."  But imagine someone who is deprived of everything tasty and this is a miraculously things to watch.  Kinda like the Snickers Bar commercial right?

Some people think stuffing your face before stepping on stage is a bad choice because they’d think of bloating or gassy or having a big belly but generally speaking, but when your adrenaline and autonomic system is running super high off of fumes, then by re-freeding you will tremendously help you out your fatigued muscles and your cognition big time.  That way tomorrow you can be feeling your best!
