Day in the life with someone who has ADD or ADHD

Growing as an Individual

Walk in the shoes for a day having ADD or ADHD?

Attention Deficit Hypertension Disorder or Attention Deficit Disorder

Having trouble sitting still?  Have compulsive behaviors?  Have trouble paying attention?

It affects focus, attention, listening and staying still for short periods of time.  This also allows the body to act before the mind so it can lead to impulsive decision making, preventing dangerous unwise choices or not remaking these mistakes.

ADHD is from the chemical reactions which is from the pre frontal lobe cortex which handles complex behavior, planning and result making.  The right section pre-frontal lobe is bigger than the left.  So the right side of the brain fires more rapidly than the left which causes hyper fusion.

Psychological and chemicals like nor-ephedrine (fight or flight) and dopamine (pleasures) are neurotransmitters and are extremely low in Peeps with ADHD (which is why I was diagnosed with depression as a kid at age 14) along with  ADHD and ADD brings lack of thoughts, alertness, efforts and lack of focus.

Dr.’s recommend the treatment psycho formidable treatments like blocking reabsorption of chemicals in the brain and always promoting more social encounters around lots of physical "hands on" activities working hands with the receptors and connections in the brain needed to refocus these neurotransmitters in the brain.

I love with exercise the “mind to muscle memory” that my behavioral problems dealing with ADHD can help the “executive functions” in my brain slow down, while feeling happy with producing oxytocin and later in the day after my workout I find I can pay attention for longer periods of time AND TO REMEMBER AND RETAIN INFORMATION LONGER!

Exercise is free medicine and you can give yourself a dose anytime, anywhere, any day to help recover from wanting more mental clarity.

  1. Our middle daughter is in the 10th grade and suffers from ADHD with hyperactivity. Focusing on writing is tough for her but we might have a word processor that works for her. She is able to really focus on writing with the INK for All productivity tools.
