Competing as a Female Figure Bodybuilding in my 30's
Competing as a Woman Bodybuilder in my 30’s
As obvious as it is, age doesn’t fool anyone when your health needs to always be a priority and yes I am the strongest and best looking I’ve ever been in my life, Knut my upmost concern always lies on my future health as an Ofer woman in my 30’s.
Since I don’t have children, I have extra time to push my training harder but slowing down and technique is crucial so that I don’t injure myself. As well as physical, my insides and mind are a huge priority.
Getting older you’re not a “Spring Chicken” and you can get hurt but instead of bouncing back quickly, it takes more time to recover and rehab and sometimes you don’t recover fully.
Unfortunately, the older you are; the more you need to take the time to slow things down and maintain. Now, Mind you; people any age can be at optimal level but I’m gearing this article specifically towards older woman who are competing as Bodybuilders and the stress it puts on your body.
Hormones, thyroid, glands, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments al need to be given a little more Tc the older you get. One day as we age we realize if we break, that may be a lifetime change.
But in our young age were like bouncy jello just going crazy and wild and can come back very quickly but with age that slows down and becomes a real deal to take seriously.
So do I encourage competing as a Bodybuilder even as an older woman? Heck yes! Age should never define our dreams But do I advise to really researching and doing your homework with studying and tracking all of your levels and as a woman to make sure you keep your levels balanced.
